I did this multi-petal flower video last year – I called it a blue aster because I make it in blue a lot… but it’s also the same way I do my sunflowers more or less. I redid the video with a yellow sunflower. If anyone gets the urge to make Ukraine fundraising or Ukraine support pieces with it a good sunflower cane that’d be cool.
I posted another speedy little not-quite-a-tutorial video of my making stock canes for my Etsy shop – the fuchsia flower cane lives here – which I could probably do every day once I get a little better with the video tools.
Have a watch at:
If you’re me, your clay generally turns into beads. It’s an obsession. And let’s face it: beads are tiny, instant gratification art. Not up to a whole sculpt? A vase got you down? Make a half inch bead. Done.
Then you run into the issue of what do you do with the darn leaf beads. So… earrings. It’s pretty much instant gratification bead usage.
