When I make beads for the shop I try to group by themes or colours so that I have a direction. This week I got started on some long overdue woodland beads that I’d run out of, mostly. Raven feathers and acorn beads this week and a few more maple leaves.
I got smart this time and cut a few larger feather slices to use as pendants before I reduced the rest of the cane. This is something I tell my students all the time, to only reduce one end of the cane so you have two sizes to use… but I don’t take my own advice very often.
