This weeks installation of Meet an ArtFire Smoosher’s guild member is about CNewcomb, a dad to two daughters from Cypress, Texas.
CNewcomb combines his fancy scroll saw work – which completely puts my newbie efforts at it – to shame with polymer clay. He cuts shapes and then backfills with polymer clay to enhance it like this example:

His scroll work is so beautiful. I love the combination of the polymer clay and wood. The effect is quite striking.
I love his woodwork and admire that someone can do it without sawing a finger off! (Seriously, no talent here for that whatsoever.)
