I will be demoing a simple six petal flower cane, a smaller slice-bead cane and a leaf cane. To clay along with me you’ll need:
- a 2 ounce skinner blend(half a pack of colour + half pack of white with crumb of other colour mixed in), colour to lighter tint of itself(close to white)
- a small amount, a 1/4-1/2 pack, of the darker colour with a smaller amount of black mixed in for the outlining and veining in both the leaf and flower
- transluscent clay, already conditioned, to pack the flower cane, about half an ounce
- a small amount of a different colour or cane, for the flower center. I’ll be using a simple brown and light brown lace cane.
After I’ve got the flower made, we’ll whip out a much smaller slice bead cane and then we’ll make a shaded leaf cane.
