To anyone who’s linked to a page I’ve moved, I’m sorry! I’m reorganizing the site to make it line up better with what I want it to do and some pages, particularly the tutorials and info ones, will have moved. They should still all be around somewhere though.

The earrings were an experiment with handmade earwires. These ones are brass and lightly hammered (which I realize you totally can’t see in the picture). It makes me realize that I need to figure out another method for the earrings with this kind of bead, le sigh. But they are lightweight and cute anyways.

The swirl heart on this chain is a miniature version of my larger pendants on cord. It has a dangly red pearl with it and hangs all nicely gothy on gunmetal chain.

My in-progress polymer clay class is working on transfers and tonight we’ll be making tiles for use in bracelets and other pieces. I had to try out the materials though!

So, the big thing this week is that I’ve added another role to my online world – I’ll be the Polymer Clay Editor at CraftGossip.com! CraftGossip is a blog that covers whats up in the online world for a whole bunch of crafty areas including polymer clay.

The first post is a bit of a Cyber Monday shopping look around. A lot of talented Etsians and ArtFire members are running great sales right now including the Free Shipping one in both of mine!

Easy and fun!

I was station in the historic train station in Herbert along with fellow artist Louise Perrin. I took the waiting room which was transformed into my studio for the weekend. Tour goers got to see me cranking out canes, passing out prototype buttons, try out my clay jewelry and chat with me about art.

To round out the weekend, I got to enjoy the coffee house (the wine and cheese type event) for the current exhibit at the Art Gallery of Swift Current. These two gentlemen are the artists and were kind enough to pose. I highly recommend checking it out if you have a chance – it is an interesting combination of art and commentary.

The larger slices will be a dollar a piece or a dozen for $10. AF allows me to easily list multiple quantities, so if you need more than what’s there, do let me know. For example, my bracelets use between 10 and 30 of each flower type in them. I will probably make larger, mixed, quantities available soon.

And these will roll out to my Etsy shop in the coming days or weeks. Just have to start somewhere.

Kitties (fast kitties!) and dragons make me happy.
