Inktober to the Rescue

When I was small I drew a lot. I didn’t worry too much about it being great. And then at some point when I wasn’t small I pretty much stopped drawing. I’m trying to get back into the habit, trying to stretch that creative muscle but as with a lot of things that were easy when I was small this one’s hard. I signed myself up with friends to do #inktober this October, a yearly drawing challenge run on the internet. They have a weirdly non-themed prompt list and I’m drawing terribly but I’ve kept it up for a week and a bit so far so yay!?

My deal with myself was it had to be a short doodle, 15 to 30 minutes tops. It had to use what I have around – which isn’t awful – and it had to happen every day if at all possible. I even have this great little stack of 4×6 cardstock pieces to use.

I’ll see you at the end of the month folks!
