Fresh Beads

The latest batch out of the studio oven - now waiting in line to do the tumbler sanding dance, then buffing then a few coats of protective varnish.

Meeting Bead Friends

Yesterday I had the pleasure to meet up with some customers from the previous fall. They had purchased some of my beads at the Hillhurst-Sunnyside Christmas craft show and were interested in more so we arranged to meet up.

C.A.Therien’s Cane Store on eBay

A good friend and fellow artist is C.A.Therien of C.A.Therien Polymer Clay Arts. She operates a consignment store on eBay specializing in the sale of fresh millefiori canes. Her work is top notch and she has several of us in her shop as ‘Guest Artists’ so there is a lot of variety in the store in terms of styles. Something for everyone.

The banner below links directly to the auctions held by the guest artists of the store but all the store has some lovely work:

Shiny & New

tooaquarius.com takes it’s first baby steps today! Bear with me as I add the eye candy, goodies and fun content.

If you have some links you think would fit in I’m interested in exchanges with other artists and vendors having to do with this crazy stuff - polymer clay, beads, DIY and craft blogging!

Categories

As I’m using WordPress as the CMS for the site, I get to set categories to organize my blogging and content by - for now, that includes community, events, news, reviews, studio and tips&tricks.

It is my hope that the site is a combination of things - my venue to sell my work eventually, as well as show it off, a way for me to keep in touch with my community of clayers and to give back a little in terms of tips, reviews and listing of resources.
